Art of ceramics

Alongside the cabinet-making, sculpture, metal work, gold and silversmithery workshops, the ceramics are one of the earliest exhisting workshops in the school.
Established since the I.A.M. foundation it was subdivided into four main areas which specialized in turning, brickmaking, kilnmaking and hand moulding.
The regulations for this workshop were laid down by Palizzi himself.
The "Open Air Sculpture School" is an example of the high standard quality achieved by the ceramics workshop.
