Hall D

The hall hosts both collection and production. The school workshops production from 1900 ( Paris Universal Exposition) to 1920 concerns ceramics, metal-working and printing.
The ceramics collection is particularly rich, including examples from Italy (Chini Factory) from the main European Factories (Sevres, Bing, B&C, Limoges) and from United States (Cincinnati and Boston).
The collection testifies to a real evolution in formal, stylistic and technical.
The contemporary students' and teachers' productions mirror this research as in the works by Nagar, Montrone, C.Farneti.
Of particular tecnical interest are the co-productions of different school-workshops, such as the metal-packing decorated vase by Montrone, the wooden and ceramic fireplace by Nagar, the wooden and ceramic little table by Faiella/Bottone/Ramaschiello.
Prominent is the furniture production: the 1903 oak and maple chest of drawers by Farneti is only one example.
The metal-working and jewellery sector offers a rich set of samples by Farneti, Provvidera, Musella, De Luca and Pansini. All display different tecniques such as embossed work and chisel: Sbalzo dishes and high-relief lizards mirror.
Some tempera sketches and lithographies by Capodanno and Migliorini, made for advertising posters or book covers, represent the Printing School Workshop.
